Omar was born in El Paso, Texas in 1985. He grew up between Ciudad Juárez and El Paso. From an early age he displayed a strong interest in illustration influenced by cartoons from the time.


In 2009, Omar teamed up with Adrian Aragones to create the local-art gallery 2nd Floor Gallery. Names like: Jason Lucero and Irene O'leary were a few who's art was displayed.


In 2012 he earned a BFA major in Graphic Design and a minor in Drawing with a Certification in Museum Studies from The University of Texas at El Paso, at the same time he collaborated with his good friend an colleague Iris Gandara (currently Master in Interaction Design and UX Designer) designing El Paso Museum of Art's Book Desert Modern and Beyond (El Paso Art 1960–2012) (ISBN-13: 978-0978538354).

By the end of the 2012 PraiseSpark was born. The social media management, graphic design and photography project involved a colaboration with Avraham Ibanez. PraiseSpark engaged in many local projects such as: The Reef (seafood foodtruck), J's Kebab, Old Mesa Bar, Universal EP and others introduced a different way to approach Social Media Advertising in El Paso-Juárez.


In 2013 Percepcia is created, a business model that includes PraiseSpark services and expands further in providing creative solutions in graphic design, marketing, photography, creative consultation, social media advertising, branding and interior design in El Paso, Houston, Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua and México City, to this date.
